WAYS OF SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT USING ORGANIC FERTILIZERS AND REGENERATIVE METHODS

Abstract

Background and Aim. This article discusses the issues of environmentally efficient and long-term sustainable development of modern agriculture. Against the background of global challenges such as global climate change, soil degradation and erosion, and the excessive use of chemicals, new areas of agriculture are becoming relevant - the use of organic fertilizers and the introduction of regenerative agricultural technologies.

Materials and Methods. Organic fertilizers (vermicompost, compost, green fertilizers, etc.) can preserve the natural fertility of the soil and improve the quality of crops. These fertilizers contribute to achieving long-term productivity by increasing the microbiological activity of the Earth without harming the ecosystem.

Results. Regenerative agriculture is an integrated approach aimed not only at harvesting crops, but also at restoring soil structure, preserving biodiversity and maintaining ecological balance. This system uses methods such as zero or low-volume agriculture, crop rotation, cover crops (cover crops), and a combination of organic animal husbandry and agriculture. Such approaches protect the soil from erosion, maintain moisture, and create a biological balance against pests.

Conclusion. The use of organic and regenerative methods in the conditions of Kazakhstan will save land resources, increase the sustainability of agricultural production and produce environmentally safe products. These areas are most relevant for future specialists in the specialty of agronomy, as they ensure not only production efficiency, but also harmony with the environment. The article analyzes in detail the advantages of these methods, the ways of implementation and their place in agriculture. This research is a scientific and practical basis for the formation of sustainable agriculture based on environmental alternatives.
