Abstract

To collect natural substrates and search for dead insects exhibiting signs of bacteriosis, field surveys were conducted in the ribbon pine forests of the State Natural Forest Reserves "Yertis Ormany" (Pavlodar Region) and "Semey Ormany" (Abay Region). In addition, surveys were carried out in the forested areas of the Burabay Massif (Akmola Region), the forests of East Kazakhstan, shelterbelts of the Kegen, Enbekshikazakh, and Karasay districts, as well as in the natural reserves of the Ile-Alatau State National Park (Almaty Region).

As a result of the conducted research, 580 samples were collected, 479 of which were analyzed, leading to the identification of 30 Bacillus thuringiensis isolates.
